G20 Trade Ministers Meeting Press Release

G20 Trade Ministers Meeting will be conducted in Istanbul on October 6, 2015, within the framework of Turkey’s G20 Term Presidency, assumed by Turkey for a one year period as of December 1, 2014. Within the framework of its importance for economic growth and sustainable development, trade has been one of the priority areas of Turkish G20 Presidency. Therefore, Turkey, after Mexico and Australia, has been the third country that organized G20 Trade Ministers Meeting. Representatives of the G20 members and guests from Azerbaijan, Spain, Singapore, Malaysia as the 2015 Chair of ASEAN, Senegal representing NEPAD, and Kenya as the host of the 10th WTO Ministerial Conference, as well as the representatives of World Bank Group, IMF, OECD and the WTO will attend the Meeting. Press Release Inclusive Energy Collaboration: Delivering On the G20 Energy Principles and High Level Conference on Energy Access in Sub Saharan Africa 1-2 October 2015 The first G20 Energy Ministers Meeting in the history of the G20 was organized on 2 October 2015 in Istanbul. H.E. Recep Tayyip Erdoğan, the President of the Republic of Turkey addressed the meeting during the opening session. Following this address, H.E. Ali Rıza Alaboyun, Minister of Energy and Natural Resources delivered welcoming remarks. A working breakfast was also held before the meeting with the participation of G20 Energy Ministers and the Business 20 (B20) Energy Dialogue Platform. High Level Conference on Energy Access in Sub-Saharan Africa

Press Release Republic of Turkey Ministry of Energy and Natural Resources High Level Conference on Energy Access in Sub-Saharan Africa 1 October 2015 A “High Level Conference on Energy Access in Sub-Saharan Africa” will be held in Istanbul (The Grand Tarabya Hotel) on 1 October 2015 under the G20 Turkish Presidency. In line with the Turkish Presidency´s Three I´s agenda: Inclusiveness, Investment and Implementation, access to energy for all has been an important priority of the Turkish G20 Presidency this year. G20 Ministers of Tourism discuss how tourism can create more and better jobs

G20 Tourism Ministers (T.20) met in Antalya on 30 September 2015. The meeting was chaired by the Turkish Minister of Culture and Tourism, Mr. Yalçın Topçu. Ministers from G20 members and guest countries as well as principals of the European Commission (EC), the International Labour Organization (ILO), the Organisation for Economic Cooperation and Development (OECD), the Cooperation Council of Turkic Speaking States, the World Tourism Organization (UNWTO) and the World Travel and Tourism Council (WTTC) met in Antalya, on September 30, 2015. The meeting focused on the capacity of tourism to promote more and better jobs, in particular for women and youth as a means to reduce inequalities at national and international level and promote inclusive and robust growth. The Third G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors Meeting under the Turkish Presidency Concluded in Ankara

G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors convened for the third time under the Turkish Presidency in Ankara on 4-5 September 2015. The meeting was attended by the Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors of the G20 members, invited countries, and the heads and senior representatives of the relevant international organizations. This meeting provided an important and timely opportunity to make a comprehensive evaluation of the progress on the agenda and Finance Track deliverables to be submitted to G20 Leaders at the Antalya Summit, and discuss actions required to achieve G20’s ambitions for this year.
