Press Release on Media Accreditation for G20 Leaders Summit

    1. GENERAL INFORMATION
      G20 Leaders Summit will be held on 15-16 November, 2015 in Belek, Antalya.
    2. MEDIA ACCREDITATION
      Members of media who wish to cover the meeting have to fill the application form and upload the below mentioned documents online via http://g20.org.tr under “INFO FOR MEDIA” section starting from 21 September 2015. The deadline for the media accreditation is 21 October 2015.

      1. Members of the national press should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their press card and a photo. (Media members without the official press card should apply with a letter of authorization from their media organization and a copy of their official ID cards.)
      2. Resident members of the foreign press in Turkey should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their press card and a photo.
      3. Members of the foreign press coming from abroad should fill in the accreditation form and attach a copy of their local press card, a letter of authorization from their media organization and a photo.
    3. INTERNATIONAL MEDIA CENTRE AND ACCOMMODATION
      A 3,000-people capacity International Media Centre (IMC) will be set at Kaya Palazzo Convention Centre for the accredited media members. Convention Centre is within Kaya Belek Hotel and Kaya Palazzo Hotel and members of media can only stay at one of these hotels in the Main Summit Zone. Members of media who received accreditation confirmation can send their reservation requests to burak.karademir@kayahotels.com.tr.
    4. VEHICLE ACCREDITATION
      During the Summit only uplink vehicles and vehicles carrying technical equipment will be allowed to enter the International Media Centre (IMC); other vehicles owned by journalists or companies will not be allowed to enter the IMC. Application for those vehicles has to be done by filling the vehicle accreditation form online via http://g20.org.tr. The information regarding the date and time for the entry-exit of those vehicles will be announced by email. The drivers of those vehicles have to register for the media accreditation by uploading the documents mentioned in the 2nd article; otherwise they will not be allowed to enter the IMC. 
    5. HOST BROADCASTERS
      Turkish Radio and Television (TRT) is the host broadcaster of G20 Leaders Summit and will be providing the following facilities:

      • Producing the LIVE signal of the meeting’s open-to-press moments,
      • Distributing the LIVE signal by providing a TURKSAT capacity of its own,
      • The signal will be clean and will not be encoded,
      • The recorded pictures of the main events and the family photo will be available in an FTP file for accredited media members.

Anatolia Agency (AA) is the host photographer of the G20 Leaders Summit and will be providing the following facilities:

    • Capturing the meeting’s open-to-press moments,
    • Publishing the photographs on its Flickr account (https://www.flickr.com/photos/g20_turkey) without logo and password and free of charge.

All the fields in the accreditation forms must be filled and related documents must be uploaded properly. If not, the applications will be invalid. Incomplete applications and requests received after 21 October 2015, 5 p.m. will not be processed.

Information on when and where to collect the accreditation cards will be sent to the emails of the applicants at a subsequent time.
