G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies Met in Bodrum for Mid-Term Evaluation

G20 Finance and Central Bank Deputies held their fourth meeting under the Turkish Presidency on June 15-16, 2015 in Bodrum, Turkey.

Halfway through the Turkish Presidency, Deputies have made a mid-term evaluation of the G20 agenda towards the Antalya Summit. As such, Deputies have elaborated on the progress until June and the potential outcomes to be delivered by the Antalya Summit.

During the meeting, there have been stimulating discussions in the areas of global economy, framework for strong, sustainable and balanced growth, investment and infrastructure, financial regulation, international tax, IMF reform and climate change finance.

Deputies welcomed the progress to date, further refined the deliverables and confirmed their determination to the success of the Antalya Summit, in line with the work plan endorsed by Ministers and Governors in February.

Following their meeting, Finance Deputies also met with G20 Sherpas to review the progress and take stock of the works in Finance and Sherpa Tracks.

The next meeting of the Deputies will be on September 3-4, 2015 in Ankara, on the margins of the third G20 Ministers and Governors meeting.
