The Third Meeting of G20 Framework Working Group (FWG) took place on May 28-29, 2015 in Rome, Italy.
Representatives of G20 members, invited countries and international organizations exchanged views on global economic outlook and challenges leading up to the Third Meeting of G20 Finance Ministers and Central Bank Governors in September.
The Group assessed the first draft of members’ Adjusted Growth Strategies in line with the recent challenges and potential risks to the global economy. In addition, representatives evaluated the progress of implementation of the commitments in Growth Strategies, and discussed whether G20 is on track to achieve common objective of additional 2 percent global growth by 2018.
During the meeting, members also touched upon internal and external imbalances, and the main impediments to balanced and inclusive growth, which is one of the top priorities of 2015 G20 agenda.
Members will convene for the fourth meeting of the FWG in September, in Korea.
